Throughout September we highlight all five gynaecological cancers, cervical, ovarian, vaginal, vulval and womb, encouraging early recognition of symptoms and confident access to care.
World Mental Health Day
World Mental Health Day raises awareness of mental health issues and encourages support for those affected. Lady Garden Foundation marks the day by highlighting the emotional impact of a gynaecological cancer diagnosis, and the importance of mental health support alongside physical treatment.
National Grief Awareness Week
National Grief Awareness Week encourages open conversations about grief and bereavement, and highlights the support available to those experiencing loss. Lady Garden Foundation marks the week by recognising the grief experienced by families and loved ones affected by gynaecological cancer.
Cervical Cancer Awareness Month
Throughout January we focus on cervical cancer, encouraging awareness of symptoms, the importance of attending cervical screening, and uptake of the HPV vaccine.

National Cancer Survivors Day
National Cancer Survivors Day celebrates everyone living with a history of cancer, from diagnosis onwards. Lady Garden Foundation marks the day by celebrating the women and girls who have come through a gynaecological cancer diagnosis, and recognising the strength of the wider survivor community.

Menopause Awareness Month raises understanding of the menopause and its wide-ranging effects on health and wellbeing. Lady Garden Foundation marks the month by highlighting the link between menopause and gynaecological cancer, including how menopausal symptoms can sometimes mask or overlap with cancer symptoms, and the importance of seeking advice if something doesn't feel right.
