why support lady garden?
OVER 22,000 people are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer every year in the UK.
Cervical cancer alone is 99.8% preventable but there are still 3,300 people being diagnosed with cervical cancer annually in the UK.
99.8% of cervical cancer cases
75% Vaginal cancer cases
69% of vulval cancer cases
34% of uterus/womb cancer cases
11% of ovarian cancer cases
ARE PREVENTABLE.
We need your help to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of the five gynaecological cancers, the HPV vaccine, and the importance of going to your cervical screening appointment.
Remember, Early diagnosis saves lives.
